In July of 2006, I came into your office in Cherry Hill to talk about surgical procedures for correcting my moderate gynecomastia. Three years later, I am finally writing to tell you how much your work has improved the quality of my life. While I still struggle with my weight, my chest is no longer an embarrassment. I'm entering my sixth year of my PhD program in British History and I've just recently returned from a year long stay in London doing research for my dissertation. I am writing to thank you for everything you have done for me. I worked very hard to keep my body in shape through having 2 children. The only part I couldn't do anything about with exercise was my sagging breasts. I met with many surgeons in the south jersey region before deciding to have Dr. Vasisht perform my breast augmentation. I felt very rushed and pressured with all of the other surgeons I met with. Dr. Vasisht was thorough and answered every question. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the process. I am very athletic and active and I was looking for a very subtle natural change that would not interfere with my lifestyle. After several years of my body changing from having children, I began to research the options of having breast augmentation. I am the type of person who tries very hard to steer clear of anything medical, especially surgical. So you can imagine how scared I was when I had to go under the knife repeatedly, all due to a minor kick to the chest from my 3 year old. After several surgeries, I was about to give up hope...but then Dr. Vasisht came on the scene. He looked over my history, took the time to get to know me, and instantly put my fears to rest. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the wonderful care and treatment I received at South Shore Plastic Surgery. From my very first consultation, I knew that Dr. Vasisht was the right surgeon for me. He was very knowledgeable, humble, and most of all.. passionate! My impression was that he was not just a surgeon, but an “artist”. I could not believe all of the personalized treatment I received any time I called or had an appointment. I was in the office three times before my surgery and each time I was there for at least an hour!! Dr. Vasisht had no problem giving me as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions.
Putting my surgery in Dr. Vasisht’s hands was the smartest thing I had done throughout the whole process. I told him to see what looks best on the operating table and decide from there, putting the decision in his hands. I am so glad that I did!! They are the perfect fit for my body, yet conservative. I would have been disappointed if I went any smaller.
Beryl, the Office Manager was absolutely amazing as well!! She knows me by name and recognizes my voice when I call! Although an unfortunate accident, I feel very lucky that you were on call in the emergency room at the hospital. Without your intervention I most likely would have lost part of my finger. You assured me that you would do everything in your power to preserve it and you followed through with your promise.
What I immediately recognized is that you took a sincere concern in my situation and that you were genuinely interested in making sure that I was comfortable during the procedure.
