Nepal Mission

Dear Valued Friends and Colleagues:

I have been invited again by Doctors Without Borders Southeast Asia section to help with the reconstructive surgery efforts in Nepal.

When I saw the devastation, I knew I had to go. Currently patients aren’t able to get proper surgical care, and we need to be there to perform the complicated surgeries.

I will spend 10 intense days working with other Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Nurses and Humanitarian Aid Workers; we’ll operate in 2 hospitals within the heavily impacted areas.

The surgeons and other medical personnel typically pay for the costs of the missions mostly out of their own pockets. We’re hoping to raise money to buy equipment that the hospitals desperately need, medication, food, clean water and other necessary supplies.

I’m reaching out to see if you, or someone you know, would be willing to help our fundraising efforts. All of the money raised will go directly towards the people that need assistance.

As you know, I’ve been involved in missions in different parts of the world for many years. This mission will likely be much more difficult, since it will require more infrastructure and financial support.

To this end, we have established a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for the mission:

I hope you will consider donating. All donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you in advance for your consideration!
